"We
have two spacious, semi-detached self catering stone cottages which
are located in a beautiful rural hamlet called Cilybebyll in South
Wales, just a short drive from the Gower beaches in Swansea, the
Brecon Beacons National Park and the award-winning mountain bike
tracks at Afan Forest Park (Afan Argoed) in Port Talbot and Brechfa
in Carmarthenshire.
The cottages are in a
peaceful hamlet location on a no-through lane, near Neath and Pontardawe with views over
the surrounding Welsh countryside. They are decorated in a
comfortable, modern style and are ideal for families, couples or
groups. Our village is very small and quiet but we are only
minutes from amenities and the M4. We pride ourselves on providing a warm,
friendly service and we will do our best to make sure that your stay
with us is enjoyable. A welcome tray of tea, coffee, milk and
a freshly made traditional cake is provided. Children are most
welcome with toys, games and books available in each Cottage.

Tan yr Eglwys Cottages Accommodation Summary
Both Cottages are non-smoking with central heating and Cottage 1
also has a wood burner
(logs provided). No pets please. Bed linen is provided
and a travel cot and high chair are available. We appreciate the
importance of comfort and cleanliness to a well equipped holiday
home. You'll find that necessities such as soap and washing up
liquid are provided. During the colder months the Cottage will be
preheated prior to your arrival to ensure your holiday home is warm
and snug for you. Outside there is secure bike storage which
is ideal for mountain bikers. Bookings are usually Friday -
Friday but please ask if you have other requirements.
The cottages contain
an abundance of Tourist Information and there are lots to see and do
in this part of the world. We are always happy to make
suggestions of enjoyable trips and attractions to suit your
needs.

This Cottage has 4
bedrooms - a king-sized master bedroom (shown in the photo), a twin and two single bedrooms on the first
floor. There is a first floor bathroom and a ground floor
shower room. There is fitted kitchen/diner, living &
dining room and second ‘snug’ with TV & books.

Renovated in 2008, this
delightful 3 bedroomed Cottage has a king-sized master bedroom and single room
upstairs plus a pull out 2’6” single bed. There is a third
bedroom downstairs with a single bed. This could also be used
as a day room. There is a living room with dining area.
The bathroom is on the ground floor with a bath and separate shower.
