Feedback from Guests

We would like to thank all our guests who have taken the time to write their comments in our Guest Book.  Below are just some examples of their comments.

"Thank you for a wonderful week!  Can't believe how much we've done. Pembrey National Park - wonderful.  Oxwich Beach - great.  Llangeneth - fantastic as always.  Botanical Gardens & Aberglasny - better than Eden Project by far and finally St David's - worth the drive.  Thanks for providing a home from home."  Jackie & Adrian

"Many thanks to Helen and Alan for a lovely warm welcome.  We have really enjoyed our stay in spite of the weather!  High standard of accommodation with lots of extras." Thomas family

"Thank you for the accommodation.  We found our stay very enjoyable, cosy, homely and relaxed.  The layout of the house is very nice and made suited for everyone.  The books, piano, DVDs.  Our kids enjoyed these very much!  The surrounding environment is beautiful and the walks from the door are great.  Thanks once again" Ram & Family

The name 'Tan yr Eglwys' means 'Underneath the Church'.  The Cottages are located lower down the hill from this historic 18th century Church.

"We have had a fantastic time.  Your house was really comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone.  Loved the log fire!. Biking: The Wall at Afan - Not extremely technical but reasonable level of fitness required.  The Penwyd at Afan - smooth flowing single track.  Lots of fun :)  Gorlech at Brecfa - steady interesting climb, descents, downhill course - lots and lots of fun!"  Gary, Teri, Barry, Nigel, JB & Louise

"Thank for you for a wonderful 3 nights.  It was lovely to curl up in front of the fire on those rainy days!  We all enjoyed exploring the book shelves.  The Waterfront Museum was very interesting.  We could have done three hours there." Tom, Cheryl, Len, Char, James and Robyn

"Thank you for a warm welcome.   This is a great place to stay.  We have done some fun things while we have been here among them a trip to Dan yr Ogof Caves, the Chimp Sanctuary and the Henrhyd Falls are a must." Jane, Clare, Holly and Diane

The Cottages are among the oldest in the Hamlet and they are shown here in this old postcard which Father Perry has kindly allowed us to publish.

"Thank you very much for a lovely stay and for all the helpful ideas of things to see and do.  We loved the Gower beaches, the Brecon Beacons are beautiful and Carreg Cennen Castle was spectacular! Thanks for recommending the Butchers pub - the food was good!" Gareth, Caroline and Chris
